Yes, it's true. If you have the right kite and know how to do it, you can fly kites indoors without wind or learn from one of the experts that will be on hand... Featuring top indoor performers such as Lee and Deb Park (Aerial Experience), Penny Lingenfelter, Lam Hoac, Wayne Turner, Bill Rogers, Jeff Reed and others, this is a show not to be missed!

So everyone can enjoy this great sport, Lincoln City is bringing these expert indoor kite fliers from all over the country to demonstrate the art and teach kids of all ages how to soar without wind.

This year will also see the addition of an AKA sanctioned indoor kite competition to this festival in conjunction with the Northwest Sport Kite League... Fliers from all over the Pacific Northwest are expected to compete, with this being one of only a handful of indoor competitions available in the western United States.

In the last two years, the Lincoln City Visitor and Convention Bureau has been very active in promoting kite flying of all kinds and exposing the general public to this remarkable pastime... Including their hosting of the 2005 World Sport Kite Championships scheduled for June, held for the first time in the USA since 1997.
